An Ad Campaign for Bubly sparkling water created using product photography that I shot and edited myself.
Bubly Sparkling water is light, refreshing, and flavorful, serving as a healthier alternative to soft drinks while keeping that crisp carbonation, so I wanted these ads to be fun and flavorful like the “lighter than air” product.
Unedited Photos
All images were shot by me with a Canon DSLR camera.
Preliminary Edits
I then removed the backgrounds in Photoshop, performing color corrections where necessary so I could composite them together into product advertisements made entirely of images I took myself.
Typography
For the “Lighter than air” tagline I made for this campaign, I searched for a font that felt light. Beloved Script turned out to be too light, and Segoe script is a great alrernative because it still feels light and welcoming but it has more visual weight and is easier to read for a wider audience.
All Round Gothic was a good choice for the product information at the bottom because it is very similar to the rounded typography Bubly uses in their logo.

Initial Composites
Using my source photos, I arranged the cans and fruit into compositions advertising the product.
These are showing headed in the right direction, but the thin script font for the tagline is getting lost and the composition is being overpowered by the scale of the can and fruit images.
Refined Designs
I adjusted the typography to have more weight and to be easier to read, reduced the size of the images to make better use of negative space, and added more depth and variety in value. These updated compositions are more refined and have greater visual interest and impact than the original versions.
