Why mission-driven design?
My lived experience has permanently shifted my perception about mental health, substance abuse disorder, and recovery, and has made me more aware of the stigmas and fear-driven narratives surrounding these issues. I want to choose love over fear and create designs that matter and can start a conversation.
From research to sketches, drafts, and the final product, my designs are intentional, seeking to connect with the audience and start a conversation. Drink Responsibly is a passion project turned senior thesis project, and then reworked to effectively convey the appropriate message. I invite you to take a look into how my mind works and how I translate those thoughts into tangible designs.
